Reset Button on the OV20i
This page explains the purpose of the Reset button on the OV20i camera and when to use it during basic troubleshooting.

There is no recovery mode or long-press behavior. A short press simply restarts the camera.
Where Is the Button?
The Reset button is located on the top panel of the OV20i.
note
The USB-C and HDMI ports are not used in normal operation.
What the Reset Button Does

When to Use the Reset Button
- The camera UI becomes unresponsive
- Camera stops responding to triggers or inspection cycles
- You've changed a setting (like IP address) that needs a restart
What Happens Internally
- The camera reboots the operating system
- All inspection recipes, logs, and network settings remain intact
- No data is erased
⚠️ What Not to Expect
- No factory reset
- No firmware flashing
- No hidden recovery mode
This button only reboots the system, similar to unplugging and replugging power — but safer.
